This personal project of a space station interior model I did to improve my skills in hard surface modeling, lighting and shading. The model consits of a fully equipped room of a space vessel. I wanted to create a sci-fi interior design, not too futuristic but in a retro style of science-ficiton movies of the 70's and early 80's. All the objects in the scene are modeled, unwrapped, textured and shaded in 3ds Max by myself. For the cloth parts I used Marvelous Designer to simulate the fabric parts realistic.The light setup is based on Vray lights and photometric IES lights. The final shots were rendered with Vray. The postproduction is done in Photoshop.
